(SavorNation) – Fall is officially here, and one of the surest signs of the season — along with the changing leaves and crisp morning air — is the prevalence of seasonal autumnal beverages at the nation's top coffee chains. While pumpkin spice is the most ubiquitous flavor, some coffee shops are embracing the season with oats, cardamom, pecan and even "cereal milk."
For those looking to embrace the flavors of fall before the weather turns breezy, here’s a roundup of all the fall drinks currently available at some of the coffee chains near you.
Scooter’s Coffee
Scooter’s Coffee, a Midwest drive-thru with more than 880 locations across 32 states, has been offering its pumpkin- and caramel-apple-flavored beverages since August 14.
In collaboration with snack brand Little Debbie, Scooter’s debuted an Oatmeal Cream Pie Latte, which features oat and molasses flavors, white mocha sauce, whipped cream and a soft mini oatmeal cookie on top.
Returning fall favorites on the menu include the pumpkin chai, a pumpkin spice latte and the Pumpkin Caramelicious. A new pumpkin addition — the pumpkin creme cold brew — is made with cold brew coffee, a splash of cream, pumpkin cold foam and flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove.
Both the Autumn Caramel Swirl (with caramel, hazelnut and vanilla flavors) and the Caramel Apple Red Bull Infusion (made with tropical Red Bull, green apple flavoring, Caramelicious cold foam and a caramel drizzle) have returned. A new non-caffeinated drink has been added to the menu, too: a Caramel Apple Sparkling Float, made with sparkling soda, green apple flavoring, caramel float topping, whipped cream and a caramel drizzle.
Peet’s Coffee
The California-based chain with 465 locations in the United States, China and Middle East launched its autumnal beverage lineup Wednesday, August 20.
Brand new options include the Cardamom Citrus Cold Brew Oat Latte (made with cold brew, oat milk and cardamom-citrus flavored syrup) and the Cardamom Citrus Mocha Frappe (a blended drink made with cold brew, chocolate sauce and cardamom-flavored syrup, topped with whipped cream).
Coffee popping pearls are once again available at Peet’s, as well as its pumpkin latte and pumpkin chai latte. The Vine & Walnut blend, a medium-roast blend with beans from Guatemala, Kenya and Ethiopia, has come back as well.
Dunkin’
Dunkin’ isn’t celebrating fall with just pumpkin — it’s also launching drinks with "cereal milk" and mixed berry flavorings.
This year, Dunkin’ introduced its new Cereal n’ Milk Latte, made by combining espresso with "marshmallow-flavored cereal milk." Returning favorites include Dunkin’s signature pumpkin spice latte, topped with whipped cream, a caramel drizzle and a dusting of cinnamon sugar. (Guests can also add a pumpkin swirl to any drink.)
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, which boasts more than 1,200 locations, will offer a variety of pumpkin drinks through Nov. 4.
This year, the Southern California-based chain launched three layered lattes (pumpkin, matcha and vanilla) featuring oat milk and a frothy layer of either matcha or cold brew, as well as a Honey and Nut Latte with oat milk and flavors of honey and hazelnut.
There's also pumpkin chai lattes (hot or iced), a Pumpkin Dry Iced Americano, and even a non-caffeinated blended pumpkin drink among the offerings.
Caribou Coffee
This Midwest chain with more than 800 coffeehouses across 11 countries introduced its fall drinks August 21, bringing back an assortment of beverages in flavors including pumpkin and Honeycrisp apple.
New this year is its Iced White Mocha with pumpkin cold foam, and returning favorites include the Pumpkin Espresso Shaker, Pumpkin White Mocha, pumpkin chai and Pumpkin Crafted Press, an iced blended drink made with cold brew, a splash of milk, sugar and a hint of pumpkin sauce.
Honeycrisp apple options include the Honeycrisp Apple Caramel High Rise (made with espresso, steamed milk, caramel, Honeycrisp apple syrup and topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle), Honeycrisp Apple Caramel Espresso Shaker (apple and syrup and caramel sauce shaken with espresso and oat milk), Honeycrisp Apple Energy Drink (made with Honeycrisp apple lemonade) and Honeycrisp Apple Caramel Oatmilk Steamer (a noncaffeinated option with oat milk, caramel sauce and apple syrup, and topped with whipped cream).
Starbucks
The chain perhaps most closely associated with the PSL brought back its famous autumnal creation last month. Other returning favorites include the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai and the Iced Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte.
The only new drink for 2025 is the Pecan Oatmilk Cortado, featuring three short shots of concentrated espresso, pecan syrup, steamed oatmilk and a "pecan crunch topping."
