AUSTIN (KXAN) — All southbound lanes are shut down on Interstate 35 due to a crash investigation at Lakeway Drive in Georgetown, according to Georgetown Police. One person died.
The Texas Department of Transportation posted on X around 1:48 p.m., saying, “Southbound I-35 at Lakeway Drive, all lanes closed due to police activity."
"Please avoid the area and seek alternate routes," GPD said.
