AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department said it was searching for a man in connection with a robbery that occurred in south Austin on April 30.
APD said between 1:45 and 2:15 a.m., the suspect robbed the victim of his wallet and later used the victim’s credit card to buy cigarettes at a nearby gas station located in the 400 block of S. Congress Avenue.
Police described the suspect as a 5’ 5” Black man between the ages of 30 and 40 and weighing 150-170 lbs. APD said he also had a bald head and a black mustache and beard.
He was last seen wearing a black "Juneteenth" themed t-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes, according to police.

“A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for any information that leads to an arrest,” APD said.
